1.Welcome to the steering group, Angharad Owen and Martin Daws.

2.Social event on September 26th. The cathedral grounds and room were not
available so alternative venues were discussed. Thomas, Lisa and Martin were
going to investigate possible use of schools, Curved Lounge and Empty shops.
The social would now be planned for November - 7th November first favourite. A
'meet in the street' type of event would be later on or after Xmas.

3.Martin is going to help Jon with the freshers societies events where TBT can
be promoted.

4.Green mapping - Nick to send out letter seeking information about possible
groups to put on the green map. Angharad and Dan to meet up to discuss green
groups. Angharad to find out if it is OK to use the groups found in Network
News as part of the Green mapping project. www.greenmap.org.

5.Send  any details of groups to contact to Nick.

6.The information about the allotments scheme for a field behind Penrhosgarnedd
is progressing. A separate group has been set up for this. Any new members to
contact Lisa. Lisa will talk to the sustainability officer for Gwynedd when all
the information about the allotment scheme is ready.

7.Dan has created a layout for the Trawsnewid Bangor Transition web site and now
needs some articles to add to it. Nick will send the article from Franklin.
NJ,JDR,TB,SR to meet up on Wednesday 9th Sept at 5pm at Greenhouse to see how
it is set up and how to add information. DB has now mostly been paid for the
hosting and web name for the web site.

8.Sheena talked about the 10:10 launch and felt that it would be good if TBT
joined as a group and information about it could be added to the web site. It
would be a way to get individuals involved. It was agreed that TBT should sign
up as a group - action SR.
